ASD Holdings presents the Magneto® PS (Pump Stroke Sensor). It is the worlds first and patented pump stroke sensor that mounts to the outside housing of the rig pump, using a magnetic base. It can detect, and count mud pump piston strokes without having to make contact with the pistons.
No more having to open the covers of the rig mud pumps to install the C-clamp style micro switch with metal whisker. (See Picture below on left) No more having to bore a hole through the pump housing in order to get a proximity switch near a piston to count strokes. (See picture on right with cable going through bored hole in pump housing)
The form and fit are different than anything currently on the market, using the magnetic base, however, our state of the art circuitry has the ability to give the end user a switch type (on/off) electrical output that current, conventional pump stroke sensors emit from their sensors.
Therefore, the end user does not have to make any accommodations to their Data Acquisition System’s required input signals for pump stroke sensors. We will install any male connector the end user specifies so that using the Magneto PS pump stroke sensor will be a simple and truly plug-and-play.
